Visitors to Mt. Bachelor, Sunriver’s favorite ski resort, will have access to expanded learning terrain and a revamped Sunrise Lodge with parking lot improvements just in time for the 2019/2020 season. Mt. Bachelor has been hard at work upgrading the lodge and refining the Woodward Mountain Parks, which have been designed with sculpted enhancements to provide innovative ways to teach, learn, coach and progress. The Mt. Bachelor Woodward Mountain Park encompasses new terrain and infrastructure, including two new covered carpet conveyor lifts and 629-foot quad chairlift.

Woodward Mountain Park Comes to Mt. Bachelor

In partnership with Woodward, an experiential action sports company also owned by POWDR (the company that owns Mt. Bachelor), Mt. Bachelor Woodward Mountain Park brings thoughtfully planned networks of terrain zones that leverage unique topography for a fun and intuitive mountain experience. Woodward Mountain Parks, like the new park at Mt. Bachelor, include three designated areas of terrain for learning, experiential and performance. Each zone offers features and terrain designed to provide innovative ways to teach, learn and progress.

Woodward Mountain Park features:

• Easy and forward-focused skill development in the Learning Zone Start Park
• Family-focused fun in the Adventure Zone, Progression Park and Family Cross Run in the Experiential Zone
• Freestyle terrain parks that progress from small to medium to large in the Performance Zone

Choose your own path and set your own pace to build personal skills and adventure within each zone. Woodward Mountain Park provides expanded terrain and new inclusive experiences for Mt. Bachelor guests. Mt. Bachelor Woodward Mountain Park will be open every day as conditions permit and is included with a regular lift ticket or season pass to the mountain.

Upgrades to Sunrise Lodge and Parking Lot

All guests to Mt. Bachelor will benefit from upgrades to the Sunrise Lodge, which includes the construction of a third parking lot in the base area. This new parking lot increases parking capacity by 50 percent and has a capacity of 300 cars, sitting below the existing lower Sunrise lot. This new lot also provides guests with easy access to the new chairlift.

Sunrise Lodge upgrades include modernized restroom facilities and a remodeled rental shop designed to add capacity and speed up the rental process. New kitchen equipment and a reconfiguration of the food court allow for faster service. The Sunrise Lodge also features new furniture, paint and decor throughout the building.
