Where to go Sledding Near Sunriver
Wanoga Sno Park — Located 15 miles west of Bend and 20 miles northwest of Sunriver on Cascade Lakes Highway. We love Wanoga for many of our favorite winter activities, including sledding, fat biking, nordic skiing, snowmobile trails and more. Wanoga is great for families — you’ll love visiting the old fashioned sledding hill for sledding and tubing near Sunriver. A Sno-Park permit is required November 1 – April 30.
Sledding at Drake Park — If you happen to be in Bend when the need to go sledding calls, Drake Park is the most central place to go sledding in town. There is a hill on the east end of Drake Park, adjacent to the Mirror Pond Parking Area off of Franklin Avenue, where locals and visitors alike gather for in-town sledding. Dress the kids up in layers, grab a sled and head downtown!
Hollinshead and Al Moody Parks in Bend also have small sledding hills within city limits.
