It’s officially summer, which means it’s prime vacation time in Sunriver. One of the most frequently asked questions we get is, where to eat in Sunriver? We live here year-round and when you eat regularly in a small town, it’s easy to get to know the cuisine and the local restaurants. We gathered together some of our favorite Sunriver restaurants to help you choose where to eat on your next vacation to the area. Looking for growler fills of tasty craft beverages? We included spots for you to fill those growlers, too!

Where to Eat in Sunriver Oregon

Sunriver Brewing Company — Sunriver Brewing Company, our hometown craft brewery, has become hugely popular, with additional pubs in Bend and Eugene. The Sunriver pub is located in the Village and pairs award-winning craft beer with family-friendly service and quality pub food. The pub always has their flagship beers on draft as well as a selection of limited-release brews — from Hazy IPAs to Bourbon Barrel Aged ales. Keep in mind the popularity of this excellent brew pub when planning your meals, as the wait time can be long, but worth it!

Blondie’s Pizza — During the last year, Blondie’s transitioned to offering takeout and delivery only. The popular pizza restaurant in Sunriver remodeled their storefront to include an order and pickup window, meaning you don’t have to step inside to pick up your favorite pizzas, pastas, calzones, salads and cheesy bread. Blondie’s delivers inside of Sunriver starting at 5pm daily and offers a complete lunch menu that includes wraps and sandwiches from 11am-4pm. Located in the 2 Country Mall, across from the Village next to the 4 Seasons Bike Shop.

The Wallow Bar & Grill — The Wallow is a favorite of the Sunset Lodging crew! Located on Spring River Road, it’s an easy stop on your way back from adventuring in the mountains. Come in for indoor or outdoor dining and check out the daily specials. The Wallow serves pub fare including burgers, sandwiches, ahi poke and more. Head over to The Wallow on Saturdays and Sundays for breakfast, served from 7am – 11am.

BaseCamp Grill — Looking to grab a burger or a sandwich on the way to the Cascade Lakes? BaseCamp Grill is located on Spring River Road on the way to Mt. Bachelor and serves up burgers, fried chicken, fish and chips, sandwiches, salads and more. BaseCamp serves breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday!

Big Belly Burgers & Brews — During the summer, Big Belly Burgers, located in the Sunriver Business Park, has outdoor live music. Along with the big burgers, you can also find sandwiches, benedicts and growler fills! Burgers are made from hand-formed, smoked 100% lean ground beef and the beer is ice cold.

South Bend Bistro — Foodies, you won’t want to miss dining at South Bend Bistro during your Sunriver vacation! The Bistro features a menu by executive chef Kelly Day, who offers a fresh perspective on Central Oregon cuisine. South Bend Bistro mixes local culinary ingredients with imported meats and cheeses to create a unique menu. Wines are thoughtfully selected to balance with each dish. South Bend Bistro features a covered deck for your outdoor dining desires.

Marcello’s Cucina Italiana — Plan a date night at Marcello’s Cucina Italiana during your visit to Sunriver, you won’t regret it! Marcello’s offers a tantalizing menu of contemporary and traditional Italian fare with a Northwest twist. Expect a selection of pastas, hand-tossed pizzas, as well as salmon and filet mignon. Marcello’s prepares their dishes with the freshest possible ingredients, obtained locally whenever possible. Choose to dine-in or carryout.

Hola! — The view doesn’t get much better than when you dine along the river at Hola! In Sunriver. Hola! boasts an incredible location on the Deschutes River, right across from the Sunriver Marina. Indulge in Peruvian-Mexican food and some of the best margaritas you’ve had in Central Oregon.

El Caporal — Enjoy delicious Mexican favorites at El Caporal, which is located in The Village at Sunriver. El Caporal does currently have indoor dining, outdoor dining and takeout options available. El Caporal restaurants have been serving traditional Mexican food in Central Oregon since 1997. Oregon now allows to-go cocktails, which means you can enjoy a delicious margarita from El Caporal from the comfort of your Sunset Lodging vacation rental in Sunriver.

Cafe Sintra — Named for the town in Portugal, Cafe Sintra specializes in dishes that pay tribute to portuguese cuisine, which is noted for its bold use of spices and herbs. Head to Cafe Sintra for breakfast or lunch during your Sunriver vacation. Cafe Sintra is officially open for dine-in, but is also continuing to offer to-go orders if you prefer to take your tasty treats with you.

Where to Get Coffee and Craft Beer in Sunriver

Brewed Awakenings — Grab your favorite caffeinated beverages before heading out for your summer adventures in Sunriver. Brewed Awakenings is located in front of the Country Store and has a drive-through lane for your convenience. Pull up, grab a hot or iced coffee and a tasty baked treat and you’ll be set for a day of adventuring or wandering around the Village Mall.

The Mountain Jug — Want to try a wide selection of premium craft beverages including an assortment of bottles and growler fills? The Mountain Jug is the perfect place to fill a growler and hang out outside on the patio. Dogs are welcome outside as long as they are on a leash at all times. Cheers!
