After a year off due to Covid-19, Twilight Cinemas returns to The Village at Sunriver this August! We’re excited to see this family-favorite event return and can’t wait to see movies on the big screen outside on the North Lawn of The Village, behind Village Bar and Grill. Twilight Cinemas is a free event that includes activities for the whole family, beginning 90 minutes prior to the start of the film. Each of the movies starts at dusk and the event is always well-loved by attendees.
Sunriver’s Twilight Cinemas 2021
Grab dinner and snacks from local eateries in The Village at Sunriver. Attendees can also purchase snacks and drinks from the Sunriver Women’s Club. Everyone’s favorite candy shop, Goody’s, provides the popcorn and if you’d like to bring your ice cream and treats over from the shop itself you’re welcome to!
Space is limited at Twilight Cinemas and The Village asks that attendees who bring high-back chairs sit towards the back so as not to block the view of others. Bring your own blankets and low-back chairs and spread out with the family to enjoy films like Trolls World Tour. The organizers of the event ask that you don’t bring pets or glass to the film.
Twilight Cinemas offers more than just a great movie under the stars. 90-minutes prior to the start of the film attendees can participate in games and other family-friendly activities.

The Goonies
In this classic film from 1985, a band of adventurous kids discover an old pirate map in the attic. They follow the directions into an underground cavern in search of the lost treasure. The crew comes up against dangerous obstacles along the way. The Goonies was filmed on the Oregon coast, which gives it extra sentimental value.
