Support Sunriver business COVID-19

As everyone hunkers down at home and dreams of returning to Sunriver this summer, there are several things you can do to support our local community during this time. Sunriver is made up of many small and family-run businesses that rely on tourism to make a living. We’re all eager to welcome visitors back to the area. Your help now will help make a big difference for businesses like ours and the many other companies that make Sunriver your favorite Pacific Northwest destination.

Book a Future Sunriver Vacation

All of the models predict that local economies will be reopening by summertime, which means you can still plan ahead and visit Sunriver as you have done year after year. Floating the river is a great way to put space between yourself and other people as does biking through the 30+ miles of paved bike path in Sunriver. We encourage you to book your Sunriver lodging directly with locally owned property management companies like ours. This keeps your dollars in our community and saves you from paying outside convenience fees to third-parties like Airbnb and VRBO.

Booking your vacation now helps Sunriver businesses continue to operate and pay our employees. You may also consider booking your fall or winter vacation now to secure the best possible selection of homes and to have something to look forward to when non-essential travel orders are lifted. Come see us this summer, fall, and for the Christmas season. Visiting Sunriver is an annual tradition for many families and we hope to see you all this summer!

Buy Gift Cards From Sunriver Businesses

Are you looking to help out Sunriver businesses now? Buying gift cards to be used on services and good during a future visit help small businesses in the current economy. With Mother’s Day on the horizon, consider buying a gift certificate for a multiple night stay at a home in Sunriver from Sunset Lodging. These gift certificates can be redeemed for future lodging and will give mom something to look forward to.

Many Sunriver restaurants are still open and offering curbside pickup and delivery. Other restaurants have closed temporarily and could use your help during these uncertain times. If you have the means to purchase gift cards, Sunriver small businesses would appreciate the support. Buy gift cards now and use them on your next Sunriver vacation. Many retail shops and sporting companies also offer gift certificates and would appreciate your support.

Leave Reviews for Your Favorite Sunriver Businesses

Are the swimming pools going to be open

    • Reservations at Sunset Lodging

      Hi Sheri,

At this time we are uncertain about when swimming pools will be able to reopen. As an alternative, there are a wide array of lakes and rivers nearby for swimming and water recreation. We’ve got our fingers crossed and will update our blog and social media when we have more information from the local swimming pools.

      Thank you!
