The West Coast has been ravaged by wildfires affecting Oregon, Washington and California. At Sunset Lodging in Sunriver, our hearts ache for all of the families and individuals devastated by loss caused by the fires. People have lost their homes, cars and sadly even lives have been taken by the wildfires. In the darkest of times, Oregon has come together to support those in need by providing everything from the basics like shampoo and conditioner to generators and everything in between. 

Sunset Lodging wants to contribute to wildfire relief and also thank our customers for opening their hearts with two 3-night stays for 10 people in a Sunriver vacation home. We are running an auction and a raffle for these two stays with all proceeds donated to Oregon wildfire relief funds.

Oregon Wildfire Relief Facebook Auction:

Win a 3-night stay for up to 10 people in a Sunriver vacation home.* The winning bid helps Oregon families who have been impacted by wildfires. Visit our post on Facebook to bid. Enter by commenting your bid on the post. The highest bidder wins! The winner announced on Monday, September 28, 2020. 

Oregon Wildfire Relief Raffle:

Purchase tickets for the Oregon Wildfire Relief Raffle by donating in increments of $25. Each ticket enters you into a drawing to win a 3-night stay for up to 10 people in a Sunriver vacation home*. With each bid of $25 you will get one entry – $50 gets you two, $75 gets you three entries and so on. To enter you must call the Sunset Lodging office in order to enter/donate. Winners will also be announced on Monday, September 28, 2020.

Organizations Receiving Donations

Sunset will be donating all proceeds from the auction and raffle to the following Oregon wildfire relief organizations: 

Santiam Canyon Wildfire Relief Fund — A fund created to administer and align relief funds and donated items swiftly and efficiently to those affected by the 2020 Santiam Fire. 

Douglas Timber Operators Archie Creek Fire Relief — Douglas Timber Operators partnered with the Umpqua Fisheries Enhancement Derby to provide direct relief to the communities and individuals affected by the Archie Creek Fire.
