Was planning to go clamming along the Clatsop but the ODFW closed the beach to clamming last week. Fishing along the Sunriver sounds like a fun alternative and it’s good to know it won’t be closed!

Sunriver is upstream of Benham Falls. Until May 22nd, Benham Falls is closed. In March, you need to be in the “Bend” zone. The zone from Lake Billy Chinook to Benham Falls is open all year. One other idea: flyfishing primarily on Fall River all year (Must bring your Polarized glasses).
