Snowshoeing Near Sunriver

Strap on a pair of snowshoes and find your way to all sorts of interesting places in Sunriver and Central Oregon.

Wanderlust Tours offers guided snowshoe adventures for the entire family through serene wooded forests. There’s even an opportunity to race your brother or sister down a snow covered slope and see who falls first!

Snowshoe on your own—take off at any of the area snow park trails like Water Tower Loop.  Shoe the rim of Crater Lake National Park. The bright blue lake against the white snow view is absolutely amazing—a must see sight.  One of our favorite places to go is Swampy Lakes (one of the last snow parks on your left if you are coming from Sunriver heading north on the Cascade Lakes Highway).  You have a choice of snowshoeing out to three different warming huts at varying distances.
