Visiting Sunriver’s Pacific Northwest playground means both you and your dog can enjoy recreational opportunities across the region as well as great dining. Sunriver and Bend have a wealth of pet-friendly restaurants where your dog is welcome to join you on the patio.

Sunriver Brewhouse

Dining with your dog is easy in the summertime at the Sunriver Brewhouse. Dogs are welcome on the patio when it is open and you can enjoy fine craft beers and a delicious northwest pub menu.

Village Bar and Grill

Hang out on the dog-friendly patio at Village Bar and Grill and enjoy tasty pub fare including wings, burgers, steaks, seafood and pasta.

Brewed Awakenings

Grab your morning coffee at Brewed Awakenings after a leisurely walk with your dog along the walking trails in Sunriver. Brewed Awakenings features several dog-friendly tables on their outdoor patio and they also provide dog treats upon request.

Cafe Sintra

Cafe Sintra offers ample dog-friendly seating on their patio making it the ideal place to grab lunch with your pup. Cafe Sintra specializes in Portuguese cuisine and serves breakfast and lunch.

Hola Sunriver

Both you and your pup can enjoy stunning river views while you dine al fresco at Hola Sunriver. Hola serves Mexican and Peruvian cuisine at their five Central Oregon locations, including the dog-friendly Sunriver restaurant.

Outdoor Recreation with Your Dog

You came for the recreation and outdoor adventures in Sunriver and your dog can enjoy many of the greatest trails in Central Oregon. Seeing people on paddleboards with their dog at the front of the board cruising up the Deschutes River is commonplace here. Sunriver’s 30+ miles of paved pathways make for the perfect evening stroll after the heat of the day has dissipated. Enjoy a scenic walk along the Deschutes River with your canine companion in tow. The Dog Park at Mt. Bachelor

Dogs have a blast playing in the snow off-leash with other pups. Mt. Bachelor is open for skiing and snowboarding in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. Bring your dog to the Dog Park at Mt. Bachelor on hot summer days to stay cool at the higher elevation.

Green Lakes to Soda Creek Trail

This long, but moderate, trail includes a 12-mile hike in the Three Sisters Wilderness that can take about seven hours to complete with your dog. This trail showcases the endless beauty of Central Oregon with mountain views, waterfalls, alpine meadows, and volcanic rock. A Northwest Forest Pass is required.

Big Sky Youth Sports Complex Dog Park

Bring your dog to this off-leash dog park in Bend to play on trails, grassy areas, water spigots and picnic tables. Dogs have a blast running and playing off-leash with other pups. There is also an agility course for advanced pups as well as plenty of water stations.

It’s important to note that dogs are allowed off-leash in Sunriver, as long as they are under voice command. The Sunriver Owner’s Association asks that you carry a leash at all times.
