One of our favorite events returns to The Village at Sunriver on Sunday, May 29 — Dog Day in May! As life-long dog lovers, we love bringing our canine companions to this fun event that celebrates our four-legged friends. Dog Day in May is For Everyone!

The Village at Sunriver invites everyone and their dog to the annual Dog Day in May event. The event features booths slinging dog-related products with knowledgeable vendors who can answer many of your dog-related questions. You can even adopt a dog from the Humane Society of Central Oregon! The Humane Society will have dogs looking for their forever homes on-site and ready to come home with you!

Dog Day in May includes a variety of amateur dog contests — including Looks Most Like Owner, Best Trick, Longest Stay and Fastest Eater. If your dog is the trick master, or can inhale food faster than air, then the dog contests at Dog Day in May are the perfect way for you to brag about your pup.

JD Platt and the K9 Kings will put on an extraordinary show that you won’t want to miss! This popular, traveling show offers great entertainment and includes up to eight different dog breeds, acrobatic trick dog routines, rescue dogs, as well as the largest meet, greet and pet area. You’ll love this entertaining mix of comedy, music, audience participation and high-flying dog tricks.
